Swell Sculpture Festival - Outdoor/Beach Art - Currumbin Beach, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, 2011

Hi all

Recently I enjoyed another visit to the annual Swell Sculpture Festival at Currumbin on Australia's Gold Coast. I find it such an enjoyable experience to be able to see and photograph a wide variety of modern art and sculpture in a beach/coastal environment. Here are some pics:

Sunshine State Challenge Pre-season NBL Basketball Tournament, Gold Coast & Brisbane, Sept 2011

From 22 to 24 September 2011 I was lucky enough to attend the Sunshine State Challenge NBL Basketball Pre-season Tournament, held at the Gold Coast and Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The impressive and well coached Perth Wildcats beat the much improved Sydney Kings in the final. Here are some pics:

Cairns Taipans v Gold Coast Blaze Pre-season NBL Basketball, Brisbane, Qld, Aust; 3 September 2011

Hi all

I enjoy supporting basketball, so I'm very much looking forward to the Australian NBL (National Basketball League's) pre season tournament over the next few days. Recently I saw a good game between the Cairns Taipans and the Gold Coast Blaze, in Brisbane. Here are some pics from the game:
