Yep, on Monday I went to watch the "Queensland Ride Relief" - a fund raising bike ride supporting the Queensland flood relief appeal. The "headline act" was seven-times Tour de France cycling winner Lance Armstrong, ably supported by Queensland Premier Anna Bligh, and Queenslander-elite pro cyclists Robbie McEwen & Allan Davis. 

I'll add more later, but for now:

Gold Coast Blaze v Perth Wildcats NBL Basketball - New Year's Eve, 2010.

Last New Year's Eve saw the Gold Coast Blaze play the (Reigning Champion) Perth Wildcats in NBL Basketball action. For the second time in three home games the Blaze fought back from a ~20 point half-time deficit to just miss the win at the end. Here's the Smugmug photo gallery:
