Hi all
As you know I really like Noosa National Park at Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. I've collated some of my pics of the area from the last 8 months, all into one photo gallery. Here are some pics of this marvellous area:
Banksia flower, Proteaceae family.
Elusive Red Backed Fairy Wren (Malurus melanocephalus)
Dolphins
Laughing Kookaburra (Dacelo novaeguineae)
A typically sleepy Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus)
Brahminy Kite (Haliastur indus)
Osprey (Pandion haliaetus)
Eastern Reef Egret (Dark Morph) (Egretta sacra)
Olive Backed Oriole (Oriolus sagittatus)
Perhaps a Brown Honeyeater (Lichmera indistincta)
When I exited the park & arrived at main beach, there was not a single person on the beach or in the water on this very cool, overcast day. Eventually this brave lady swam along.
Here's the photo gallery.
Thanks so much for looking!
