Last Thursday 12 January 2012 I enjoyed a super morning photographing surfing at Duranbah beach (which is at Tweed Heads, in northern New South Wales (NSW), adjacent to the Queensland / NSW border; at the southern end of The Gold Coast; Australia). I had a bit of luck later in the shoot, too. I was finishing up and had just left the beach when, who did I see? None other than Dual World Surfing Champion Mick Fanning, just arriving! A short time later I was back into the swing of things, albeit from a bit further away. Here's a 'pic of Mick'!
