Hi all
Now to photos from the 2012 Mooloolaba Men's ITU Triathlon World Cup & the 2012 Mooloolaba Women's ITU Triathlon World Cup; Sunshine Coast, Australia.
First, the 2012 Mooloolaba Men's ITU Triathlon World Cup
Jimmy Seear showed inspirational aggression in the swim and bike legs, and then a strong group incuding Mario Mola, Brad Kahlefeldt, Laurent Vidal, David Hauss and Brendan Sexton moved ahead in the run. Vidal won the sprint, with Mola being the impressive ~ relatively new name in the group imho. Some pics:
Luciano Farias in the surf exit
Harunobu Sato (Japan)
Two times Hawaii Ironman Triathlon World Champion Chris McCormack ('Macca')
The lead group in the run leg including Sebastian Rank, Mario Mola and Laurent Vidal
Alternate processing: "Kodak Panatomic X -Exp 1986 Auto" - Last year's 2nd-place-getter, Brendan Sexton

Here's my photo gallery covering the 2012 Mooloolaba Men's ITU Triathon World Cup.
Secondly, the 2012 Women's ITU Triathlon World Cup event
Australian Erin Densham was a sensation. She surprised herself by leading out of the water, and then ran away from a good field on the run. My highlight was hearing the crowd on the rise to Alexandra Headlands giving Erin a loud roar as they saw that, not only was she in the lead on the run, but pulling away from the field. Some pics:
Erin Densham, Andrea Hewitt leading out of the surf at the end of the swim leg
Daniela Ryf and Rachel Klamer exit the surf
Helle Frederiksen with the fast cornering in the bike leg
Lisa Norden in the run leg
Emma Moffatt, Laura Bennett
