Breaka Burleigh Pro Surfing 2013

Hi all

On Monday 4 February 2013 I was lucky enough to see some of the Breaka Burleigh Pro Surfing Competition at Burleigh Heads on Australia's Gold Coast. The event is Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) 6-Star Women’s and 4-Star Men’s rated. This year saw the welcome introduction of women's surfing to the event. Here are some pics:

Breaka Burleigh Pro Surfing Photography

Yesterday (Wednesday 8 February 2012) saw the start of the 2012 "Breaka Burleigh Pro" Surfing Competition on Australia's Gold Coast. Just one quick pic for now, and hopefully more later :)

Saturday (19 February) saw the final heats & quarter finals of the Breaka Burleigh Pro Surfing Competition at Burleigh Heads on Australia's Gold Coast. Although the surf was very small (on the grand final day as well), I enjoyed the day and the professional surfers were brilliant at making 'plenty' from very small waves. The winner for the second year in succession was Taj Burrow. Here are some pics (if you like, you can click on any photo to be taken to that pic within the gallery):
