2017 Noosa Triathlon, Sunshine Coast

Hi all

I'm creating this blog post up to first draft stage, at least, as early as possible, to allow the search engine machinations to commence.

For the 10th time in succession, I enjoyed taking some personal happy snaps at the 2017 Noosa Triathlon. It was very impressive to see Ashleigh Gentle win the women's event for the fourth time in a row, and the fifth time in total! Wow! It was also good to see young Jake Bertwhistle win the men's event after placing second and third in the previous two years.

2011 Noosa Triathlon, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia

Late last month I enjoyed a few days at Noosa Heads photographing the Noosa Triathlon and the Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival. Here are some of my favourite pics from the main event: the Sunday morning Noosa Triathlon for elite and general-public competitors:

Last weekend I was lucky to be able to take 2 day trips to the 2011 Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival. In this post we'll look at some bike leg pics from the open / public Mooloolaba Triathlon organised by USM Events. The event catered for both individual and teams competition, so in the following set of bike leg pics, some participants will be triathletes and others will be specialist cyclists:
