2017 Noosa Triathlon, Sunshine Coast

Hi all

I'm creating this blog post up to first draft stage, at least, as early as possible, to allow the search engine machinations to commence.

For the 10th time in succession, I enjoyed taking some personal happy snaps at the 2017 Noosa Triathlon. It was very impressive to see Ashleigh Gentle win the women's event for the fourth time in a row, and the fifth time in total! Wow! It was also good to see young Jake Bertwhistle win the men's event after placing second and third in the previous two years.

Some early pics (I'll be processing ~ 1000 more over the next week)

Inspirational as always to see a triathlete with a disability working closely with his assistance triathlete

Later in the morning I, like the triathletes and runners, needed some shade, so I ended up at Noosaville. Thanks for the smiles and greetings people! :)

Buying Noosa Tri UN-Edited Pics 2012

Hi all

A quick explanation on purchasing images from my specific galleries of UN-Edited pics from the 2012 Noosa Triathlon. (The largest sample of such a gallery is here: http://smu.gs/SPqO0u.)

I have only uploaded smaller images to my galleries of UN-Edited pics from the 2012 Noosa Tri. This has mainly been for two reasons:
  1. to save time, and also
  2. to save space on the Photoshelter site http://disci.photoshelter.com.
In addition, the small images uploaded to Smugmug had a watermark applied prior to upload. This means that there are:
  1. no un-watermarked images (in these Smugmug galleries of UN-Edited pics) available for purchase as 'downloads' available from the UN-Edited Smugmug galleries, and
  2. only small un-watermarked images available from the Photoshelter galleries (when those galleries are opened).
So, the recommended option for purchasing downloads of un-watermarked pics which are currently in those UN-Edited galleries is as follows:
Please send me an email at disci7 AT gmail dot com, and tell me which image(s) you're interested in. I will then upload a larger, un-watermarked version of the image to the relevant Smugmug gallery. You can then either:
  1. purchase the image through that Smugmug gallery, or alternatively,
  2. if you'd like me to email the image to you, we can use email to discuss the procedure for doing this.
I hope this clears things up a bit, without me needing to add too much detail to the description at the top of the image galleries.

Thanks for your time.
